About
W. Kyle Tangney is a Senior Managing Director and founding team member of Greysteel, having helped launch the firm’s Bethesda, MD office. He leads the Mid-Atlantic Multifamily practice from Pennsylvania to Southern Virginia, advising owners on the sale, financing, and capitalization of apartment communities, mixed-use assets, and development sites.
Kyle has built his career entirely in Mid-Atlantic multifamily since 2009 — rising from Director in 2012 to Senior Managing Director in 2020 — and is recognized as an authority on assets subject to rent regulation, rights of first refusal, and long-term affordability covenants. He received Greysteel’s Professional Choice Award in 2025.
