About

Britt Gillespie is an experienced Multifamily Investment Sales Advisor and Director at Greysteel, where he leads the firm’s Special Asset Services Group. In his role, Britt leverages Greysteel’s deep market expertise to build enduring client relationships and craft tailored strategies that drive collaborative, long-term success.

Britt launched his real estate career in the Phoenix market in 2003, focusing on commercial land sales. During this time, he worked closely with municipalities, investors, and developers—gaining hands-on experience in planning, annexation, and rezoning to help shape successful master-planned communities and development projects.

A veteran of the Great Financial Crisis, Britt transitioned into multifamily investment sales, guiding clients through complex valuations, workout strategies, short sales, and REO dispositions. His team’s Phoenix multifamily transaction volume exceeded 3,000 units, with greater than 5,000 units transacted to date. After relocating to South Carolina in 2017, Britt joined Greysteel in 2022 as part of the firm’s Carolinas team, expanding his multifamily advisory work across the Southeastern U.S., with successful transactions in five states.

Beyond his professional work, Britt is deeply engaged in his community. He is the Real Estate Chair for United Housing Connections—a nonprofit committed to a Housing-First approach to ending homelessness—where he previously served as Board Chair. He also sits on the Finance Committee for the Prisma Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation and is a former board member of the Appalachian Council of Governments.

A passionate dog lover, hiker, and automotive enthusiast, Britt resides in Easley, South Carolina, with his dog and cat.
